Why I Chose This Book

As a journalism and international relations student, I have always been fascinated by political and ethical topics involving the Middle East. My dream career is to be a Foreign Correspondent based somewhere in the Middle East, covering international news. I am incredibly passionate about the need for Americans to be aware of the way our country is, not only perceived, but by the way it interacts with outside nations. We too often involve ourselves in places that bring local people harm. This book has inspired my thinking in many ways and will hopefully continue my passions as I search for a career in international journalism.
